About This Video
This How to Become a TAB Franchisee video walks prospective owners through The Alternative Board's structured recruitment process from first conversation through to signed agreement. The recruitment lead opens with the principle behind the process — a robust, multi-step model designed to confirm that TAB is right for the prospective franchisee and the franchisee is right for TAB. Step one is a phone conversation between the prospect and the recruitment team to learn about each other and decide whether to go deeper. If both sides agree, the process moves into a series of Zoom modules covering what TAB does, why it works, what investment buys, how franchisees earn their return, and a number of mutual-fit assessments along the way. After the modules, both sides decide whether to move into due diligence with the intent to reach an agreement. Due diligence opens with a generic franchise agreement shared in full transparency, an invitation to attend a TAB board meeting in person to experience the work environment first-hand, and access to the existing franchise community to ask any questions about training, support, ramp-up challenges, and outcomes — speaking with high-flyers and slower starters alike. The final stage is a Discovery Day where the prospective franchisee meets the team behind TAB, takes a final look at the tools and systems, and both sides confirm the decision. A letter of offer, deposit, then legal and launch planning close the process. The framing throughout is a right decision over a quick decision.
