As you all know, now is a time of unprecedented challenges.

Our news feeds are full of essential, yet at times, harrowing information.

Of course, we are not suggesting ignoring these issues.

The goal of this article is to give you a brief rest and to offer you reasons to be optimistic for Australia's future.

Innovation and invention

Companies and franchises throughout Australia are finding new ways to do business, with many now offering their services digitally, at a social distance or in a completely new way to what they were used to.

Others are using this dynamic shift to re-emphasise their focus to deliveries rather than traditional bricks and mortar and others are increasing their safety precautions to keep on providing the customers with personal services.

There are even some businesses offering ‘elderly only’ time within their businesses to help the country’s most vulnerable.

New challenges often bring new ideas and Australia’s entrepreneurs and business people are up there with the most innovative out there.

Lending for Businesses Stimulated

Several new measures to help the Australian economy during these tumultuous times have already been announced.

For instance, the RBA has cut the official interest rate to 0.25 percent, while there has been a three-year funding sceme of at least $90bn put in place for lenders.

This scheme is designed to increase lending to smaller businesses who need extra finance.

Australian Resilliance and Franchises' Strength

In modern times, the wide-ranging affects of the coronavirus’ are unprecedented.

However, economic downturns themselves are not. Thus, it is worth noting that during challenging economic eras, many of the companies that continued to do well were franchises, both during the downdurn and after stability.

Not only that, but Australia is a country that has consistently bounced back from challenging and difficult times.

Franchisors Open and Willing to Help

Potential franchisees might be asking themselves whether or not franchisors are open to being contacted at this time. The answer we have found while in contact with our clients, is ‘yes’.

They are happy, willing and eager to discuss matters with potential franchisees.

Now may be an uncertain time, but it can also be a time when you make steps to secure your future with a franchise. Many of clients will be part of the economy that shape the future of commerce in Australia.
